Your Brand Love Story (Joy and Abu 90's Engagement Shoot)

I had the pleasure of curating and shooting a 90's themed engagement shoot for my beautiful friends Joy and Abu. A lot of time and planning went into this shoot and when the day came to execute...It rained 🤦🏾. I’m talking torrential down pour, "did I ruin my equipment?", run to the car type of rain. I got to be honest… I felt defeated. Here was this beautiful couple all dressed and ready to go and I had to shut the whole operation down. My spirits were quickly lifted when I realized Joy and Abu were unbothered and just as happy as they were before the rain.


What seemed like a wasted day turned out to be the perfect opportunity to grab dinner and catch up with my friends. We rescheduled the shoot, and can I tell you? the shoot turned out even better than I could have imagined. See, the love that Joy and Abu share is a love that has weathered many storms so that bond is unbreakable. Their love story is tied to who they are as a couple. It’s a part of their Brand 😁.
